Fondue, Trivia, and Small Victories...

I have decided to host a small get-together I'd like to call "The Trivial Pursuit of Fondue." No word on dates yet, I've got to secure some plans, but the event is in the works. I was having dinner yesterday and I thought to myself, "I'd really like to use my fondue pot again" and then "I'd like to finally play the version of Trivial Pursuit I got for my birthday last year." So, naturally, I thought why not put them together. Small attendance numbers, lots of rousing trivial pursuit playing, and cheesey fondue. Is there anything better? I don't think so.

I just had my performance review at work. It went very well. My boss kept saying "It's a pleasure to have you working in this office" and "You constantly amaze me with the things you can do." Needless to say, my ego and I probably won't fit in the same room for a few hours. My favorite part though, was when the bosslady brought up something that's kind of been bugging me: my most negative co-worker. She said, quote, "We've got to work to your style, not hers." HA! Turns out, I'm Miss Negative's boss. Who knew?
